MY Holiday by Evan

My family decided to go to South Korea for our New Year's holiday. My family consist of daddy, mummy, my uncle, auntie, grandpa & grandma. When the plane that we took was about to land in Incheon International Airport, I looked out the window. I could see snow everywhere(It was the first time I see snow). When I got off the plane and walked toward the bus, I was shivering, it was very cold. We took our breath like we were smoking. I really excited to have this condition.
Our first destination was Nami Island, it was named after General Nami. It was about -12 degrees of celcius. Almost all of the tree covered by snow. It was very beautiful view that we never found in our country. After we went to Nami Island we have lunch. Our lunch was grilled chicken. After lunch we headed for the hotel. The hotel was called Daemyung Resort in Mount Sorak area.
That night when I got in to the room, I saw no beds. So we slept on a mattress(It's traditional Korean style). The room was very comfortable because warm and very cold outside. The room was also very clean. I enjoyed sleeping with traditional Korean style.
The next day, early in the morning we went to Mt Sorak. It was famous with snow rock mountain. We can see the beautiful sight with using cable car to go up. Then we continued our tour to Phoenix Ski Resort. In Phoenix Ski Resort I met my cousin Kennard. He joined with Singapore tour but he had almost the same program and hotel with us. So in several program we can do our activities together. In Ski resort I can played sliding on the snow with my cousin. We were having night ski. It was fun, I didn't realized that snow stick on my jacket and my body. You can imagine how cold it was.
The next day we went to feed the sheeps. we saw many sheeps and feed them. I also tried to ride the ATV bike onthe snow. Wow very challenging. This was also my first experience. Then we continued our trip to strawberry farm. The strawberry was so sweet and big. That night we slept in Daegu city. Daegu is the third largest city in South Korea. The first one is Seoul, the second one is Busan. The fourth day of our tour was having the new experience in apple wine factory and in Everland. In apple wine factory we can see how they made apple wine. It was start from apple fruit until their packaging. We put our picture in every our wine's bottle. In Everland we experienced a big themepark. It was similar with Disneyland. Everland had Safari world, a place that we can see the wild animals from the bus. The wild animals are white tigers, lions and honeybears. The honeybears were so funny because they clinged to the bus window and asked for the food but the driver ask the bears to do some tricks first before giving the food. That night we stayed in Lotte world hotel, a very nice hotel in the center of Seoul. The management of hotel prepared the midnight party for their guest. We enjoyed wine and snack while waiting the countdown to new year.
At the final day we had city tour ang tried to learn how to make kimchi (mixed vegetable with chili, vinegar and garlic). Seoul was very clean and beautiful.
On the sixth day, we have finished our tour in South Korea and must go back to Jakarta. Good bye Seoul. It was unforgetable experience.
